Dr. Jessi Welch

Dr. Jessie Welch

Veterinarian

How long have you been practicing?
Since May of 2018.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
I pride myself in providing quality care for all of my patients and treating them as if they were my own. I particularly like working with dogs with anxiety due to my personal dog with anxiety, taking the time to work at their pace and earn their trust.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and working our farm. We enjoy being outdoors with our cows and goats hiking all over the mountain. Our cats and dogs help keep me company while baking and cooking inside, especially when I am working on baking and decorating cupcakes or snuggled up reading.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
I try my best to make sure that owners understand what is going on with their pets. Owners who understand the “why” behind my recommendations are more likely to follow through with the care their pet needs.

Dr. Miranda Cleveland

Veterinarian

Dr. Miranda Cleveland is thrilled to return to eastern Washington and join the team at Chewelah Veterinary Clinic as an associate Veterinarian. Dr. Cleveland is an eastern Washington native as she was born and raised in the small town of Okanogan Washington. She is also a Washington State University Alum through and through, as she graduated with both her undergraduate degree in Biology and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from WSU. Go COUGS! After pursuing an equine-focused internship Dr. Cleveland is excited to bring her experience to Chewelah. While she loves working with horses she is excited to work with smaller critters too. Her particular areas of interest are dentistry, reproduction, lameness and preventative medicine. When not in the clinic Dr. Cleveland can be found reading, baking, lounging with her dogs or out riding her horses.
